Demise

Someone lost a son, a husband, a father and a friend. I wonder how many out there are suffering the same fate, mourning for their loss.

It has been 9 days since he passed on. I do not know him. I can't put a face to the image of the man who lay lifelessly on the hospital bed. But I can imagine how devastated his loved ones are. Even more so when they are unable to be reunited with him after his death.

I'm sorry. He couldn't come home. He remains in the soil of a foreign land - a place where he doesn't belong. Perhaps, only in their dreams, could they be together once again.
