I'm sorry I wasn't by your side
To hold you and to say my last goodbye
You were such a loyal companion
Weathering through the darkest days in my life
And sharing my joy when the sun shines brightly in the sky

I'm sorry I didn't take good care of you
I didn't mean to leave you behind
I wish I could turn back time
To let you know you are always mine
But that would forever be an unfulfilled dream of mine
