Alright. The itinerary for our Italy trip is finally done! I hope I'm not being too ambitious.
Checked the weather forecast in Rome and Florence for the next 10 days. One good news and one bad news. Rome will be wet wet wet! And Florence, clear and sunny! The forecast may not be 100% accurate so I'm praying for good weather throughout our stay in Italy.
Rain rain go away! Shoo! Shoo!
5 more days before we say, "Ciao Italy!".

Happy Birthday
This card is priceless. Never mind the lack of creativity. Never mind the lack of aesthetic appeal. Never mind the stick figures which even a 2 or 3 year old is capable of drawing. It's one of the loveliest piece of work which I have ever done.
Happy Birthday, my Darling! You know that is more than just a card. Je t'aime.

Bizarre or Not?
Sometimes, I have these bizarre thoughts swirling in my head. Here's some of them on my list.
1. While I watched the heartwrenching footages on the war in Gaza, I announced to the hubby that I would like to be a humanitarian aid worker in Gaza to help the civillians. I want to be there physically in the war zone, helping the victims of this brutal war. And this afternoon, I learnt that there were demonstrations held across the world against the Gaza war. Immediately, I wished I were one of the protesters voicing my anger while we took to the streets.
2. I've been thinking how wonderful it would be to bring an Algerian kid back to Singapore for a holiday. I won't be greedy. Just one kid will do. It would be an eye opener for him/her. Imagine how happy the kid would be to experience life outside of Algeria!
3. I imagined the hubby and I leaving everything behind so that we can go backpacking around the world, covering each and every continent. That would be an experience of a life time.
4. I imagined myself getting a tattoo on my back. Not a teeny weeny one. But one that is huge enough to cover the whole of my back. I haven't decided on the design. Maybe I'll go for a dragon or maybe a fairy or a butterfly. I don't know yet. I will leave it to my next bizarre thought.

War
I've been following the developments of the war in Gaza on TV. It has been 8 days since the brutal war began. Can someone please stop the onslaught? The war has taken away many innocent lives, amongst which are helpless children. I am upset with the footages I saw on TV - Dead bodies. Chaos. Blood. Wounded civillians. Please stop the bloodshed.

The Princess in School
The Princess Goes to School!
My princess is officially a primary one student today! How time flies! Sometimes I wish she hasn't grown up so fast. I miss those days when she was just a toddler. She would insist carrying my black Sisley bag during shopping trips and refuse to let go. And she would cry each time I said goodbye before we went our separate ways. Aw...she's such a darling!
Gwendolyn will be in Ai Tong School, my sis' alma mater. I hope she's having fun on her first day of school. It's a pity I am not around to give her a big fat kiss and a bear hug before she heads for school. Sis sent me pics of her in school uniform. She looks absolutely cute!
